Meet The Team
GRAEME his passion is cutting! He trained at Vidal Sassoon in Glasgow followed by yearly additional training with Vidal Sassoon in Manchester and London. He built up his first salon with 18 staff in Falkirk before moving to North Berwick He recently trained in New York on razor cutting skills and is loving the results and is the educator here at Jack and Ivy. He is responsible for training the apprentices as they work towards their NVQ
JACKIE her speciality is colouring, She did the Loreal Colour Specialist Degree and was also part of the Loreal I.D team which involved educating throughout the UK. She also worked on the models when the salon won the Scottish Loreal Colour Trophy. She has already built up a large colour client base. She too has had education at Vidal Sassoon in London and trained on razor cutting in New York. Is always busy trying to juggle working full time and dealing with 3 daughters! Is also training for her first half marathon.
GABY – is a talented stylist who joined us back in 2018, she is a popular stylist with a regular loyal clientelle and is skilled in both cutting and colouring. When not at work, she is kept busy with her little boy Arlo and baby girl Remi – she’s got her hands full!
HOLLY – She has been with us since 2019 and did her training here then was quickly promoted to stylist. Her skills in cutting and colouring are fantastic and this has enabled her to build a strong loyal client base and this year has been promoted to ‘senior stylist’
ABBY – has recently been promoted to advanced stylist as she has built up a loyal client base and is a popular stylist. Her hobbies include driving a tractor! Yea you did read that right !!
AIMEE – first started with Jack and Ivy as a Saturday girl and after a few months she joined us full time and completed her NVQ. She became a graduate stylist then as she progressed was promoted to ‘stylist’. Aimee has a natural creative flair for hairdressing and is very popular with the clients
NEVE – Neve began with us as a Saturday assistant but then became our apprentice and has progressed really well! She has been promoted to graduate stylist – congratulations Neve !
ABBI – Abbie has been working with us after school but is ready to make hairdressing her chosen career so will be our newest full time apprentice- welcome Abbie x
NATALIE – is our Saturday assistant who joined us recently and is enjoying her new role
STAN he has been with has from the beginning and although he cannot cut or colour, is by far the most popular in the salon. He loves to be fussed over by the clients and is in everyday except Friday when he gets a well deserved day off
